“Massaging the Medium” consists of seven poetic probes and explorations of philosophical concepts regarding language, literature, media, technology, consciousness, and culture. Drawing inspiration from the field of media ecology and the discipline of general semantics, the text plays with language, and is accompanied by illustrations based on pechakucha presentations, here adapted for the print medium.
