Donal Cavanaugh is about to take an unexpected trip through timeback to the days of his Irish ancestors in 1763, a time of land wars between rival clans and battles with invading barbarian hordes bent on bloodshed to anyone in their way. Donal assumes the identity of a member of the MacDougal clan and must use all his wits and abilities to serve and protect the lord king of MacDougal Castle in order to protect his own future and the MacDougal legacy.
