• Author wrote Surviving The Closet: Learning To Live After Coming Out Later In Life
• Professor at U of T. A chance - a chance - it will be required reading in a course. She's working on it!
• We are doing a series of pre-taped visual and audio podcasts - although their faces will be edited out! - of the refugees she interviewed, reading excerpts of their stories of how they escaped each of their countries. They will drop once a week, for eight weeks.
• We are working with numerous philanthropic names and with charities, on this one, to plug this book and help raise funds for new refugees to help them get an education
• All the charities we are working with/in talks with will blast out on their social channels and monthly newsletters.
• We plan to do Kickstarters for some of these refugees in the book to raise money to help them with housing/clothing/education
• Which does create buzz while helping these courageous interviewees
• Organize virtual panel discussions featuring the author and LGBTQ+ activists, advocates, and refugees to discuss the book's themes and the global fight for LGBTQ+ rights.
