At an elite arts college where talent blooms and silence lingers in every hallway, Ellis Lane keeps to herself. She writes. She watches. She remembers.Grief has made her small.Invisible.Safe.Until the ink starts listening. When Ellis pours her thoughts into an old leather journal, something strange happens. What she writes… changes things.A sentence alters a memory.A paragraph reshapes a moment.A wish becomes real. But her nightmares begin slipping through, too-manifesting in quiet distortions of the world around her.Shadows linger too long.Reflections move on their own.Dreams follow her into daylight. And near the lake, always just out of reach, appears Prism-a radiant Mandarin duck who never speaks, never touches the ground, and only exists in reflections and dreams.A silent guide.Or a warning. As reality blurs with imagination, Ellis must confront the voice she buried beneath heartbreak and creative paralysis-or risk losing herself inside the very stories she writes.Tender, poetic, and dreamlike, Inkblot Dreams is a meditation on grief, art, and the fragile magic of finding yourself again. For readers who believe creativity can save you.And that sometimes the softest stories echo the longest.
