Valentino Moreno is the worst communicator in the polo world.
A descendant of polo royalty, he keeps his cards close to his chest and his spotlight on the field. Talking with anyone is a chore for him-that is, until he nearly runs over his boss's daughter on a dark Wyoming road. One passing beneath the stars rattles his carefully built foundation. She's a full eight years younger than him, yet he can't seem to stay away.
Aurora Van der Hill is an oil princess destined for greatness in her family's empire. Everything is planned out for her, leaving her dream of photography in the dust beneath her father's polo ponies. Spending the summer in Golden Meadow, Wyoming, after graduating from college was supposed to be full of family time and law school prep, until she makes friends with the quiet polo player on her father's team.

Becoming each other's safe haven in the world of wealth and status is a wistful dream, but it might just cost them their legacies.
