About

What is a god? The movie *Initial D* explains it very clearly: a god is simply someone who does things that humans cannot do, and that is why they are called gods.
What is a Buddha? In many stories, a Buddha is a supreme being who is even more powerful and ethereal than a god. Some also say that a "Buddha" is a benevolent thought; as long as your heart is kind and pure, you are a "Buddha."
What is a demon? In *The Essentials of the Buddha's Explanation of the Amitabha Sutra*, there is a passage stating that while the Hinayana tradition speaks of subduing demons, the Mahayana does not; the demon is the Buddha, and the Buddha is the demon. In truth, the demon is right beside you, me, and everyone else-or within our hearts!
What are ghosts and monsters? Ghosts and monsters are general terms people use for all things they do not understand. There isn't a single person who isn't afraid of ghosts and monsters; if you claim not to be afraid, it's only because you haven't seen them.
And who am I? I am just an ordinary night watchman.
