Follicular lymphoma is a slow-growing type of blood cancer involving the lymph nodes. It is the most common type of slow-growing lymphoma, and is more commonly diagnosed in people older than 60, but adults of any age can be affected. Swollen lymph nodes are often the first sign. Follicular lymphoma cannot be completely cured but treatment is available that allows many people to have a normal lifespan and a good quality of life.
