A nation in danger. A challenge he cannot refuse. War rages between Israel and its enemies. For forty days, the most terrifying warrior of the Philistines, a brutal giant called Goliath, taunts the Israelites from across the valley, daring them to come and fight him. No one dares answer him. But everything changes when the king learns that David decides to go and face the giant. With no other weapon than his sling, the young shepherd will have to put all his trust in God to defend the Israelites. Featuring full-color illustrations and Bible Truth, Facing the Giant is part of the Bible Pathway Adventures series of Bible adventures. If your kids love gripping epics and brave Israelites, then they'll love this Bible Adventures series from Bible Pathway Adventures. The search for Truth is wiser than traditions.
