Expository Preaching

Expository Preaching is "the communication of a biblical concept derived from and transmitted through a historical-grammatical and literary study of a passage in its context, which the Holy Spirit first applies to the personality and experience of the preacher then through him to hearers", Haddon Robinson, Biblical Preaching. In the book, I have written 30 New Testament expository sermons from the gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. These sermons are suitable for people from all walks of life, from lay persons to pastors, preachers and bible teachers. The objective of this book is to present the gospel message in a way that is enjoyable, memorable, interesting, understandable, meaningful and applicable to contemporary life. My wish is for readers to understand the gospel message so as to encounter the God of the Word through hearing the Word of God. "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God", Romans 10: 17.
