About

Monsters. Deadheads. Lamebrains. Zombies.

No, I'm not stuck in a bad horror flick, but I am surrounded by the undead. At least, I think I am.

There's those who are alive, but aren't really living. There are those who see things, but do nothing. Then there are people like me: I see the destruction of potential, the heartbreak of an unfulfilled life, and I vow to never go down that road.

I feel like I'm living in a dystopian future, but it's really my reality. The things I fear: addiction, hopelessness, and an unlived life are right here, in my family. I won't be a part of it, but can I turn my back on those who need me most?*This story includes themes of addiction, complex family dynamics, mental health, and abilities.
