The book includes some personal stories from the author's life and own explorations into the concept and where that landed him, ultimately. It touches on other topics such as the notion of being, inheritances, legacy, ancestry, and self sacrifice. Something thought to be grappled with as strongly as faith. We all try to grasp at an answer for the question, no matter how quickly it may spill away with the shifting sands. At a point, a compromise or a leap must be made.
