Descent

It's New Year in the West Country town of Abbeyford and Detective Sergeant Kate Redman is trying to cope with her workload, her relationship with her former DCI, and with the discovery of a frozen body at the bottom of a local ravine. A tragic accident? Suicide? Or murder? Kate has enough to contend with when it comes to the recent recruitment of DCI Nicola Weaver who seems determined to prove Kate wrong.
