Deduction Theater

The "Human-faced Moth" is a legendary insect with a little-known tale that still circulates in remote villages of Badong County, Sichuan Province. The story goes like this: Long, long ago, there lived a notorious bandit who robbed the rich to aid the poor, appearing and vanishing like a ghost. Wealthy landowners and officials trembled at his name. After each heist, he deliberately left behind numerous colorful moths at the scene. Like a dragon seen only in glimpses, he roamed the land punishing the powerful and aiding the weak. The common folk held him in deep admiration and respect, while the authorities remained utterly unable to capture him, left only to clean up the messes he left behind.
