Marc LeBlanc leaves his wine cellar and the solving of mysteries to run for office, as a favour for his friend, the Premier of Nova Scotia. As he enters the world of provincial politics, he has a steep learning curve, both in the mechanics of work as a Member of the Legislature and in trying to discern what lies behind people's words and actions. His friend's strong position is starting to totter, and Marc needs to help avert a collapse, if he can.
