In the words of a man serving a life sentence in prison, "Daunte's Inferno situates the reader inside a violent prison. The experience is much more than merely reading about prison; the reader is right here behind bars with us. I'm not sure if I have read another prison book as accurate, compelling, and engaging as this one.
