Crushed Plums

Adeline was content with her life in her small town. The people are tolerable, her job isn't awful, and every year she looks forward to the plum blossoms. The grove is special to her and the town, and the folks of Drupevale rely on the harvest every year. Adeline's having a rough spring though. Evolutionary Dendroid Industries, a greedy megacorp has been sniffing around Drupevale and planning to suck up their resources. The plum blossoms bloomed a strange color this year, and the thought of Adeline's best friend leaving for college hangs over her head. Will she survive the changes or wilt with the orchard?
