About
He was determined to stay single. Fate has other plans. James "Maverick" Lonetree heads to New Mexico for his mandatory leave. Out one night he finds himself in a bar where the stunning bartender, Tempest Burnell, makes him feel things he swore no woman would. She watched her past walk into her bar…and realized he has no idea who she is. Tempest recognizes him the moment her eyes land on him. His flirting is as natural as his breathing and she refuses to get swept up in her emotions. Last time she followed them, he gave her a child. But he is nothing if not persistent. James refuses to ignore the pull toward Tempest. When he learns of the betrayal that kept not only her, but also his child from him, his determination increases to know both of them. He has so much to atone for and this SEAL is determined he won't let her down her a second time.
