"For a kid who's reading on their own, Buzz Beaker and the Outer Space Trip is a fun adventure in which a kid inventor and his dog meet aliens (and their alien robot cats) and avert inter-species strife by sharing cookies. In its slim pages and text it manages to reinforce lots of excellent lessons for young kids. . . .without being too overly preachy. And the lessons are leavened with humor that had my 6-year-old laughing. She read it several times in a row when I first gave it to her."
