Spring break was supposed to be simple. No expectations. No complications. No strings attached. Lisa Thompson wasn't looking for romance. Especially not with a driven college quarterback whose future is already mapped out. Jake Richards doesn't have time for distractions-not with football scouts watching his every move and too much riding on the grueling football season ahead. But from the moment he meets Lisa, walking away no longer feels like an option. What begins as a chance encounter turns into something neither of them expected. Late nights. Impossible chemistry. A connection that grows stronger with every stolen moment. And the closer they get, the harder it becomes to pretend this was ever temporary. Because this isn't just a spring break fling. It's bad timing. Real feelings. And a risk that could change both of their lives. When the week ends, Jake and Lisa will have to decide Walk away before reality tears them apart... Or fight for something that might be worth losing everything for. Barking Sands is a slow-burn college football romance filled with emotional tension, unforgettable chemistry, and the kind of connection that refuses to stay behind.
