Jade and Dale Blyth moved to Mount Clover for a new start and to be closer to where Dawin Horizon was moored only to discover that they had been labelled as "outsiders" by the secretive locals. Mount Clover is steeped in mystery and legends which had the township caught between a chasm where present and past morphed into an otherworld where dark shadows hovering in the morning light seemed like ghosts of long ago creeping up buildings and tiptoeing over cobblestone. Mount Clover unnerved Jade and she must unlock the secrets and find her place in the community to restore her gift, Warm to the characters she meets along the way, the punk-rock shop keeper Coral Flannery who welcomes Jade with open arms, the renowned historian and Jade's best friend Renee Spelling and the mysterious lady Natalia who may hold the key to unlock the myth and legend of the town and bring purpose and peace to the community.
