Allegro

Though originally subtitled "Fables," the twelve texts that comprise Allegro are more akin to traditional animal tales. Felix the storyteller, similar to his master La Fontaine, uses animals "to educate man," to teach them the great laws of life. Unconventional characters, from the simple small fly to the moose, the king of the forest, look for happiness and freedom. They are called to make a choice, to grow through contact with their fellow creatures, and discover the truth.
