From an honored U.S. Treasury Special Agent to a federal prison inmate this is the unflinching, true story of how the system devours its own.Agent 2 Inmate: The Federal Bully System is the riveting memoir of Thomas W. Thorndike, a highly decorated federal agent who devoted his life to truth, justice, and service. But decades after his public service and rise to international executive leadership, Thorndike found himself at the mercy of the very justice system he once served falsely indicted, misrepresented, and imprisoned.Through raw and powerful storytelling, Thorndike takes readers on a harrowing journey from his humble upbringing and career achievements to his shocking prosecution and time behind bars. Along the way, he exposes deeply troubling misconduct within federal law enforcement from coerced testimony and prosecutorial manipulation to systemic abuses of power that reward conviction rates over truth. This book is more than a personal account of injustice it is a detailed, often disturbing, exploration of a federal system that punishes integrity and promotes silence. With firsthand knowledge and an unwavering voice, Thorndike presents a scathing critique of the unchecked authority of U.S. prosecutors, agents, and judges, making a compelling case for transparency, accountability, and reform.
