About
"A Shell Tale" is a story about Metuselah, an old and wise turtle, who wants to delight her house.Metuselah has ideas, however, her neighbors and friends have different opinions. What would Metuselah do?Will the house be happy with her choices? Judith Semion Dagan wrote the stories "A Snail Tale" and "A Shell Tale" for her grandchildren. The grandchildren, in turn, provided colorful illustrations for "A Shell Tale". Judith Semion Dagan is a poet, a painter, an educator, a bridge master, a mother and a grandmother. Above all other things, she is a humanist and a die hard optimist. She feels a strong connection to turtles, an animal that is blessed with longevity much thanks to its mild and relaxed nature and its wisdom. Judith's house is full of turtles - on key chains, magnets, miniature statues, plush dolls, soap containers and more. When people want to delight her, they bring her turtles. Therefore, it was only natural for the heroine of her second children's book to be a turtle.
