Stories From Da Pen began as a groundbreaking blog series on A Real Hood Square's Perspective, amplifying the voices of incarcerated individuals by sharing their lived experiences with the world. This book expands upon that mission, bringing together twelve of the most compelling stories from the series in a powerful and unfiltered anthology.
Written by people currently incarcerated across the United States, each chapter offers a deeply personal glimpse into their lives-tracing the pivotal moments that shaped them, the realities of surviving behind bars, and the lessons learned along the way. Their stories expose the raw truths of incarceration while highlighting the strength, perseverance, and humanity that endure despite the system's hardships.
Curated by Knowledge B, this collection also features his own story, Honey Badger Status, offering an intimate look at his journey of transformation. Beyond just a book, this anthology serves as a platform for voices too often silenced, challenging society to see the individuals behind the statistics.
Prepare to be moved, challenged, and inspired by these powerful stories of resilience, redemption, and the unbreakable spirit of those who refuse to be defined by their past.
