A little orphan girl lies on the closet floor in the dark, punished for something she didn't do. Cold and hungry, she falls asleep with her new friend, Teddy, tucked under her arm, and goes to a place where no one can ever hurt her again. Patsy is from Canada. She writes children's books and poetry. When she is not writing she likes going for long walks and getting in touch with nature. It is usually on her walks that the characters for her next book are born.
