A hypochondriac. A serial killer. A disillusioned zealot. A drug dealer on the brink of psychosis.
These are just some of the characters who haunt the pages of Connel's Your Many Lurid Fates, a short story collection that gazes unflinchingly into the pain, pessimism, and paranoia of the pandemic era.
Dark, hallucinatory, and occasionally ecstatic, these stories probe the secret traumas and hidden tragedies of broken, lonely men who wander on the fringes of society and sanity in search of something - anything - that will make them whole.
