About

Among those who read the Bible, there is a century old question: When did Jesus realize that he was the Messiah? When he was in Mary's womb? When he was a child? When he was an adolescent? Certainly, when he began his three years of Public Ministry. But was he a 'late bloomer', as many others have, been in the history of the world: Grandma Moses, who didn't develop her artistic side, until she was no longer young, or St Francis of Assisi, who loved the pleasures of wealth, until he became a prisoner in a military prison, or Mahatma Gandi, who didn't know that he was a world leader, until he was, refused entrance into a 'white' church. The premise of this little book is that Jesus did not, realize he was the long-awaited Savior, until the Holy Dove, descended on his head and a voice from heaven said, "You are my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased."
The author examines what Sacred Scripture records about the years prior to his birth and right up to the beginning of his Public Life, and using scripture, probability and imagination unfolds a story of the early years of Young Jesus.
