In Yield to Yield, Dr. Dan Lane takes the reader on a journey from Genesis through Revelation to rediscover God's original purpose for creating man, for how we are to understand God's will for our life, and for how to obtain everything we need to complete our mission. In the process, we are to give glory to God for everything in our life!
This is not just another book about how we are supposed to live by some type of formula for success. Nor is it a book about a pet doctrine, or the latest "spiritual fad". It is, however, a book written by someone who came to the realization that there had to be more to Christianity than what they were experiencing as a born-again believer. Something was missing!
Yield to Yield is the fruit of seeking God for answers to a full and vibrant Christian life. As a result, Holy Spirit has led the author through decades of Bible study to that end. He learned that it is not enough just to learn what the Bible says, but that God's intent is for His Word to be applied in every area of life in very practical ways. This leads to prosperity in our body, soul, and spirit, and it starts by waiting on Him and by learning to recognize His voice. There are no substitutes or shortcuts.
What sets Yield to Yield apart from many other books is that everything in this book has been successfully lived out. This can only be done to His glory and by His grace. If one person can learn to do this, anyone can.
Yield to Yield: You cannot have one without the other!
• Yield yourself in total surrender to the Lordship of Christ. This equips you for the harvest. • Yield a harvest of the fruit of the Kingdom as you make disciples and influence the nations with the gospel.
Prepare to be challenged about what you think you know about your Christian faith!
