Years' Past

Year's Past is a accumulation of penned memories of a woman who went through the complex journey of unrequited love. Divided into thematic sections, the collection explores the gamut of emotions underpinning the choices made by the protagonist.In the opening section, "Recollections", the poems capture the tumultuous feelings of sorrow and grief. The readers then, in "The Beginning", are provided with a prequel; a glimpse of what the protagonist endured years earlier. As the collection progresses into "Of Dreams and Detours", the focus shifts to the exploration of her present self, including her external surroundings. In the final section, "Murmurs of Time", the poems reflect on an uncertain future faced by the protagonist who must continue living her life, again, on her own.
