Alexander, Lord Burlington, has spent ten months coming to terms with being ghosted by the American he could see having a future with. Not to mention Christmas is the one time of year he hates, so the sooner he can escape Valentine Nook, the better.
Haven Wylder tried to forget her week-long fling with the hot Englishman, something made impossible when two lines flashed at the end of a pregnancy test.
Now she’s grappling with motherhood.
Being alone makes it harder and all the more exhausting, but having lost both her parents means she’s determined not to give her daughter the same experience.
She sets out to find the guy who’s taken up way more of her head, and heart, than she intended.
One look at Haven, and Alex casts aside his feelings for Christmas. Instead, he puts his energy into “how to be the best girl dad” and hopes, perhaps, Haven’s sparkle might return. He hasn’t forgotten her smile, the twinkle in her brilliant green eyes, or the way she felt in his arms either.
When he invites them to stay, it’s only a matter of time before the lines are blurred between keeping things platonic and giving in to their undeniable chemistry.
Soon, all that’s left is figuring out how to raise their daughter together from separate sides of the Atlantic.
Haven might have gotten away once, but Alex isn’t making the same mistake twice. He has other plans.
He just needs to convince Haven before she returns to Aspen, and prays she says yes.
