And then she walked away from every single thing she had been told to believe, and found something more solid waiting on the other side.
This is the story of what happens after survival - the spiritual awakening, the deconstruction of false faith, the calling to sit with the dying as an End of Life Doula, and the slow, hard, real work of becoming whole. Written for survivors of abuse, mothers fighting for their children, anyone who has walked away from institutional religion, and anyone who has been told their pain wasn't real.
The healing is real. And so is everything that comes after it.
