Women At Wells explores the risks that can arise between males and females in religious counseling settings-including misunderstood trauma, power imbalances, weak boundaries, and good intentions that may unintentionally cause harm. Using Jesus' conversation with the Samaritan woman as a biblical foundation, the book helps preachers, elders, ministry leaders, and lay caregivers offer compassionate spiritual guidance while recognizing their limitations. It encourages greater accountability, continued education, and professional referral when needed. The goal is simple: to help churches care for hurting people with greater wisdom, safety, dignity, and the love of Christ.
