Millie is old enough to know better. Just don't tell her that.
At forty-nine, her life is in freefall. Everyone around her seems to have it all figured out—meanwhile, she's stuck in a job she hates and back living with her mum. Avoiding reality? It's practically a full-time job.
With the big 5-0 looming, Millie does what any forty-nine-year f**k-up would do: she panics. And tells one massive, ridiculous lie.
But as her little white whopper snowballs into a full-blown situation, Millie's forced to face some uncomfortable truths. If this isn't a breakdown—could she finally be having a breakthrough?
