A reunion of friends turns into a nightmare… A birthday weekend with six university friends in the Scottish Highlands A chance to reminisce and pretend we're still who we used to be. Then Billy arrives - with a body in the boot of his car. At first, I think it's a joke. But it isn't. Billy swears it was an accident. But a man is dead, and now he wants our help. I want to call the police but I don't get the chance as Griffin has already decided what we're going to do and, as always, the others fall into line. As old tensions resurface, the lies we're telling begin to twist out of control and so do we. Then three men arrive, asking questions about a missing person. That's when I realise: this isn't something we can fix. Or escape from.. We came here as friends but by the end of the weekend, not all of us will make it out alive. A thriller not to be missed for fans of Freida McFadden, Claire McGowan and Lisa Jewell.
