It is 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts, when Penelope, the daughter of an evil archangel and the first woman ever, embarks on a vengeful mission to destroy overbearing men. As she unleashes her special powers onto a crowd of onlookers awaiting the lynching of another witch, she focuses a red beam of light from her eyes - leaving chaos and destruction in her wake. Surveying the damage, she smiles and vanishes.
As the only daughter of Lilith and Samael, Penelope has been there and seen it all. By the time she is twelve, she has traveled the universe through portals and witnessed the lack of equality and even the debasement of women everywhere. From the Garden of Eden to the dark ages and from the French Revolution to the Salem witch trials, she has finally freed herself from the four portals where she has been trapped for thousands of years. Now in present day California, she is using her special powers - with God’s blessing - to further her cause.
In this tale of biblical proportions, Penelope leads an innocent family into her dark world as she decides whether to use her powers for good or evil.
