These memoirs are gleaned mostly from my memory, as few early records survive. They are presented in a rough chronological order. But in a small town mixed veterinary practice in the 1970s and 1980s, there was little control in what came through the door. And to some degree, these memoirs try to reflect that chaos. Widow Woman's Ranch is the second book in my Memoirs of a Country Vet series, and the stories are snapshots of my life. Stories of my early life, my Army experience, and my college days are told in my fifth book, _____________________________ The Memoirs of a Country Vet Series 1 ~ The Last Cow in the Chute 2 ~ Widow Woman's Ranch 3 ~ Lambs and Crab Legs 4 ~ The Daughter's Horse 5 ~ The Making of a Country Veterinarian 6 ~ It's a Hard Job Being a Kitten
