Jesus declared His purpose in a single sentence: "The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." But what does that really mean-and does it include you?
Why Jesus Came: Seeking the Lost is a 14-chapter hybrid devotional and small group study tracing the seeking heart of God from Isaiah's ancient prophecies through the resurrection encounters of the risen Christ. Each chapter explores a different portrait of lostness-the wandering sheep, the prodigal son, the tax collector up in a tree, the woman at the well, the thief on the cross-and reveals how relentlessly Jesus pursues each one.
Written in a warm, accessible voice, every chapter includes deep reflection questions, a practical weekly challenge, and a closing prayer-making it equally powerful for personal devotion or group discussion. Readers will be moved, challenged, and ultimately changed by the realization that the Seeker has not stopped seeking. He is still looking for people exactly like them.
