Why I Chose Social Work

Instead of writing a book that would bore you after the first or second chapter, I decided to make it brief. This book will discuss why I chose Social work as my profession and it will describe the benefits of being a Social Worker. As a Social worker, having morals and ethics plays a huge role. Although professionalism is always encouraged, there is an emphasis on Self-care in which we, as Social workers should Master, especially if we plan on working with people and real life issues. As I grow older, I learn more and more why Self-care is important, it is the key to becoming a great Social worker. Within this book, I will also list qualities and roles that Social workers may take on. If you are looking to become a Social worker, or confused at the moment. This book will put Social work in a new light and describe some of my experiences. It will motivate you to go with the profession. It is one of the best, most life changing professions, based on my knowledge.
