Why Did God Make Plants and Animals?

God created plants and animals as part of His divine plan and purpose in creation. According to the Bible, God made all living things to reflect His creativity, power, and goodness. In the Book of Genesis, plants and animals were created to fill the earth, provide food, and support human life. Plants offer beauty, nourishment, and oxygen, while animals add variety to creation and often serve as companions or helpers to humans.

God also gave humans the responsibility to care for and steward the earth, including all living creatures. Ultimately, plants and animals glorify God simply by existing and fulfilling the roles He designed for them in His creation.
