Why Did God Make People?

God made people to have a relationship with Him, to reflect His image, and to care for His creation. According to Genesis 1:27, humans were created in God's image, meaning they have the ability to love, think, create, and choose. God desires a personal relationship with people, not because He needed them, but because He wanted to share His love.

Humans were also given purpose-to worship God, live in community, and steward the earth. In short, God made people to glorify Him, enjoy His creation, and live according to His will.
