In David Rosenfield's book, Why Americans Have it All Wrong: An Alternative Way to Find Happiness, David explores several unique characteristics about Americans and their traditions that differentiate them from the rest of the world in ways that often financially handicap them, forcing them to live a life of work rather than personal satisfaction. This book follows David's life from his inner city Chicago upbringing to working in New York City to throwing out all social norms and moving to Thailand for a few years with his American ex-wife where he learned to enjoy life like most other developed countries have enjoyed for centuries. In discovering this more fulfilling life, David Rosenfield gives concrete steps the readers can implement into their lives so they too can toss out a life handcuffed to a desk and enjoy life on their terms with those they love.
