That is, until that day of experimenting at the edges of his curse when he finds her.Alexis Ketler.Ignoring his usual precautions, Jonah pursues this mythical creature. When Alexis learns that Jonah's work could help her find her long-lost father, her years of searching through chaos and crime might finally have an end in sight. While he helps in her search, Alexis encourages Jonah to learn to bend his curse into function. He embraces her capricious nature but uncovers a violent undercurrent that becomes increasingly difficult to ignore.Their unlikely relationship intensifies, but they attract the attention of Apocra-a dogmatic organization that hunts people with powers.
