About
Teresa is an experienced, married woman and mother of two successful adult children. Marília is a young woman from another city, married to the mysterious Octávio, and mother of a five-year-old boy. A brutal murder unexpectedly unites these two families: when a woman and a man are found dead in a boarding house, the police discover they are Octávio and Teresa.
Suddenly, Marília finds herself widowed by a man she didn't know as well as she thought. Teresa's relatives mourn her death, but her youngest son, Vitório, refuses to believe she is dead, since, although the murdered woman resembles Teresa, she looks much younger.
Against all odds, this son begins a desperate search for his mother. Aided by spiritual friends, Vitório understands that both families are deeply marked by past lives, that nothing that is happening is a coincidence.
