What if home isn't a place, but a feeling within?
In this opening collection, Sonee Singh explores the longing to belong through poems inspired by travel, transition, and the search for a city by the sea. She searched the world for a place to call home, only to discover that the journey had always been leading me inward. What began as an external quest for the perfect place to live evolved into something much deeper: an inward journey toward self-discovery.
Through reflections on places, travel, modes of transportation, identity, intuition, and inner knowing, Where I Call Home reveals that true belonging begins within.
These poems are an ode to belonging-and the quiet realization that home has lived within you all along.
Transformation rarely happens all at once. Where I Call Home is part of a longer series called Renascence.
Renascence is a nine-book poetry collection chronicling one woman's journey through belonging, identity, acceptance, love, trust, strength, health, being, and flow.
Through reflections inspired by travel, intuition, synchronicity, meditation, relationships, change, fear, grief, healing, connection, and everyday life, these poems illuminate the ever-evolving path of becoming and the challenges we all face in making sense of who we are. The collection is an ode to the quests we pursue.
May they encourage you to honor your own quest, trust your soul, and remember that you can begin again-again and again.
