For five lifelong friends, it's one last adventure-a final, defiant trek into the deep wilderness before their lives pull them apart forever. They are skilled survivalists, seeking a challenge far from any marked trail. But in the heart of a forest steeped in chilling legends, a brutal storm descends, cutting them off from the world.Lost and isolated, they soon realize they are not alone. Something ancient and unseen stalks them through the dead trees. As days bleed into one another, the gnawing hunger they feel becomes more than just physical. The forest itself seems to be poisoning their minds, eroding their trust, and awakening a terrifying, primal need. In Wendigo County, the greatest threat isn't the monster in the trees, but the one whispering in their own hearts.
