About

It is important to start planning for your future while you are still a minor and your parents, or guardians, are still legally obligated to take care of you. However, if you are over eighteen, don’t worry. With the right plan, anything is possible.

Before leaving home, or your safe haven, sit down and write out a plan for your future. Make sure you have original copies of your birth certificate, social security card and a state identification card. You will need these documents throughout your life, so store them in a safe place. Be aware that fraud lives among us; so promptly report any lost or stolen identification cards or social security numbers.
