We Need Slime!

Slime can be found in all forms of life, from the slime on humans' eyes to the slime a snail leaves behind to the slime surrounding some microorganisms. What is slime's purpose? How does life survive coated in slime? This icky book engages readers with the many kinds of slime that exist on Earth-both gross and...less gross. Colorful, cute illustrations accompany descriptions of hedgehogs covering their bodies in slime to hide from predators, the mucus covering the creepy caecilian, and so much more.
