A fresh start is on the horizon for Diamond Smith. After one night with Tony led to a series of unfortunate events, Diamond has no choice but to get far away from him and all the baggage their unconventional relationship has caused. Unfortunately, growing means leaving her loved ones behind.
With her family's blessing, Diamond is all geared up to spend the next four years at Floy University, a fairly new HBCU in rural Mississippi. Running from her past while being optimistic about her future sends Diamond on a path of both highs and lows. Which explains her relationship with Joshua "Danger" Franklin. Diamond is no match for his charming yet manipulative ways and her heart and self-esteem suffer.
Will Diamond continue to allow her past to suppress her future, or will she get out of her own way to allow love to win?
