It's 1863...Young Luke Cotton, just 15-years old, has joined up with other Ozark Mountain youths to ride with Quantrill's Raiders, a southern partisan group. There and then Luke vows to quit the group, yet turmoil reigns as he and two other young men take advantage of the chaos and rob a bank before anyone can stop them. After the escaping to safety, they are surprised no one asks for the ill-gotten gains, so they devise a plan to hide the money-safely burying it for future retrieval. Disillusioned with the partisans, all three join the regular Confederate Army and survive battles until the end of the War. They then retrieve the money and set about starting a new life. Luke goes west to start anew...but will his past actions catch up to him? Find out in this blazing hot, new Western Action-Adventure from acclaimed author W.R. Benton.
