Wake Up & Lead the Transformative Power of Awareness
The determinative factor in leadership and organizational development is consciousness. Leadership concepts and methodologies are necessary and helpful yet limited in their effectiveness by the leader's own level of consciousness. The organization itself has a collective level of awareness that defines its performance and resilience. Through the practices and case studies in this book, leaders can gain an expanded awareness that embodies the potential for positive change starting with themselves and then modeling it for the larger system. As consciousness deepens and expands more is seen and comprehended. The leader's influence naturally increases through word, deed, and most importantly, presence. The parts of the system as well as the system's integration with other systems are optimized. This personal expansion is an internal and external process that by-passes the personal ego and its self-imposed limitations. When the limited mind steps back the expanded intelligence of the enlightened mind steps forward to support right action and optimal outcomes. The source of this leadership genius has always been present within us waiting to be noticed, enlivened and expressed. Wake Up & Lead reveals and activates the next level of capacities leaders need to meet the challenges and opportunities in today's world.
